Evangelia Amoiridou is an Associate Professor of Church History in the Faculty of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She studied Theology at the same Faculty. where she also did postgraduate studies, majoring in history. She has been appointed as a research assistant at the Faculty (1981), was elected Lecturer (1999), Assistant Professor (2006) and Associate Professor (2012). She teaches “Church History until the Schism (1054)”. Main works:”Ayía Theofano he Basilis. The life of an empress. The life of a Saint”, “The edition princeps of the Acts of the Council of Ferrara-Florence (1438/39)”, etc.
